People and Culture • A failure to attract, develop, engage and retain a skilled and diverse workforce – including having the right people with the right skills in the right roles – or to maintain an inclusive, purpose-driven culture aligned to CSL’s Values. • S uch failures could result in reduced workforce capability and productivity, increased attrition, and challenges in executing strategic priorities, potentially leading to operational disruption, reputational damage and regulatory exposure. • C SL has a variety of programs and policies in place (e.g. Code of Conduct, CSL Values), to guide how the Company’s people interact with each other and how CSL operates around the world. Acting with integrity, CSL builds trust, which protects and promotes CSL’s reputation. • T o ensure it remains an attractive employer, CSL regularly reviews best practices, and benchmarks itself within the markets where it operates with the goal of offering total rewards and an employee experience that are both compelling and competitive with industry peers. • C SL understands that the workplace and its employees’ needs are constantly evolving, and the Company offers flexible work options and opportunities for them to stay connected. • C SL constantly challenges itself to create an engaging and collaborative environment in which its people can continuously learn and grow professionally, deliver meaningful work and drive innovation. • P eople and culture risks, measurement against risk appetite, reporting on Speak Up cases as well as other measures on the CSL culture are overseen by the ARMC and the Human Resources and Remuneration Committee. 7. Plasma Donor Safety CSL relies on the safe and continued participation of plasma donors to support the manufacture of its plasma-derived therapies. • U ndesirable or unintended side effects or other adverse reactions or consequences associated with plasmapheresis, a failure to maintain appropriate donor safety and quality standards, or a malfunction or incorrect use of a plasmapheresis machine or other breakdowns in the plasma collection processes. • T his could result in harm to donors, regulatory and operational impacts, reputational damage, and reduced donor availability. • C SL addresses Plasma Donor Safety through robust end‑to‑end oversight of the donation process across its plasma collection centres. This includes ensuring donor safety, continuous monitoring of donor adverse events, real‑time evaluation of serious incidents and implementation of preventative and corrective actions to reduce risks across all stages of donation. • C SL also maintains donor education and informed consent processes to support safe participation and decision making. • D onor safety-related risks and measurement against risk appetite are overseen by the IDC.
