Research and Development: Bio21 Institute, Melbourne A substantial 5,000m 2 expansion of the Bio21 Institute in Parkville, Australia, incorporating CSL’s Global Hub for Research and Translational Medicine was officially opened in December 2018. The new facility doubles the presence of CSL research scientists from 75 to around 150. Our increased presence at Bio21 will enable us to extend our collaboration with University of Melbourne researchers and other research institutes and hospitals in the Parkville precinct and provide a powerful way to build our long-term pipeline of medical therapies.
